Description
This is my version of the BBQ Sauce from Hot Dog Annie's in Leicester MA. I would go to Hot
Dog Annie’s as a child with my family and Wade and I have been going there for many years.
The hot dogs, burgers and the house brand of Root Beer and Cream Soda are like a page out
of Yankee Magazine.

Ingredients
2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
1 cup prepared BBQ sauce (see additional comments)
1½ - 2 cups coarsely chopped Spanish onions
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1½ teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master
¼ cup brown sugar
Instructions
In a heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat combine all ingredients and mix well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat source to a simmer. Simmer for 60-90 minutes or until
desired consistency.
Addition Comment
You can use 2 cups of ketchup but as I experimented with the recipe I found using 1 cup
ketchup and 1 cup Baby Ray's original BBQ tastes the most like BBQ sauce from Hot Dog
